Frilly Commissions

Recently, I've opened commissions in aid of the Tea Party Club. This Tea Party is less about Republicans with a chip on their shoulder, and more about British girls in fancy dresses. To celebrate 5 years of meets and frills, the Tea Party Club is going to be hosting the UK's first ever Japanese Lolita brand event with the boutique, Juliette et Justine. Brand is a pretty big deal in Lolita fashion, so this is great news, but the group need money to help with the hosting, hiring and catering costs - not to mention flight tickets and all things needed to make for a kickass weekend.

So, how to help? The Tea Party Club raises money! As well as buying tickets, volunteers donate money from sales, and commission - whether it's accessories, clothing, or artwork. Guess which one I'm doing until September.

These pieces of work also double as "ID badges" which people can wear at the event - with over 150 Lolitas in attendance, it might be a little difficult to remember names. Included in the cost (art starts at £4) is laminating and printing - the Tea Party Club get the rest. Every little helps!
