I haven't posted much on the project - it's quite hard, given how personal this little book is, and how this blog is less so.

Although I write a lot in these books (and although offline it's very easy to tell what kind of mood I'm in, I don't find venting anger or frustration verbally an easy task) I'm getting quite artistic. Collage and painting is very therapeutic.

This book looks fascinating.
I empathise with your ifficulty about expressing personal stuff on you blog. It was a very difficult decision and I was nervous about it for a long time before diving in.
That level of sharing is certainly not right for everyone, but I just wanted to say that for me its brought nothing but kindness forward from my readers, and even encouraged more openness from them too.
I've been enjoying rediscovering your blog (looking now I realise I'd visited before when the Pikaland community first appeared)
Hey, Katie! Thanks for stopping by, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay :)
I've decided that maybe (big maybe - like you said it's a v. difficult decision to make) I'll introduce some more of my personal life to this blog, but it'll definitely be a 'baby steps, one at a time' process if I decide to go ahead with it. Thanks for the words of encouragement. ^^
I've kind of reverted back to lurker-mode Pikaland-wise, but I'm sure I'll pop up again on the Ning or Flickr group sometime. :P
